Semi-automated ACF-HSB process for the most precise assembly of fine microelectronics
Anisotropic conductive film (ACF) heat seal bonding is a special process for contacting flexible conductive traces to a base medium, such as an LCD panel.
At Getronic, we have developed a specific, semi-automatic process that has been used for over twenty years to manufacture vision systems in the medical industry.
In the developed process, flexible printed circuit boards (Flex PCBs) with a conductor pitch of 0.150 millimeters and a conductor width of 0.100 millimeters are contacted to an amorphous silicone-based base plate.
